Quality

Consumer requirements and the harmonisation of the European internal market are focussing increasingly on product quality.

Only high-quality products guarantee commercial success over the long term. UNIGLAS^® and its members aim at consistent quality management, in order to be a constantly reliable partner for the purchasers. Everyone involved – architects/planners, glaziers and of course the consumer – benefits from the decades of experience in the use of glass in construction and from the international exchange of experience between the UNIGLAS^® members.

In the framework of the UNIGLAS^® quality management system and the regulations of building law, such as e.g. the compliance mark and CE mark regulations, quality monitoring is always to be carried out, in the form of self-monitoring.

Self-Monitoring
In-house production testing requires regular examination of the specified quality characteristics. The respective result is documented.

External Monitoring
In addition to the internal quality assurance, UNIGLAS^® products are also subject to external quality monitoring by recognised testing institutes. The external monitoring is carried out in accordance with the criteria of the RAL quality and testing conditions. Also, the results of the in-house production checks are examined by the independent testing institutes.
